1. Choosing and Casting Your Vote (Ensuring Anonymity)
Simply tap your choice to vote — even if logged in, the vote itself is processed as anonymous data. If not logged in, the voted status is saved anonymously in your session. Every day, you’ll find simple but thought-provoking questions — from lifestyle choices to cultural preferences.
2. Data Aggregation and Anti-Fraud Measures
Your vote is combined and aggregated at the country level with those from other users. This process is handled within our reliable PostgreSQL database. We implement a multi-layered anti-fraud system using cookies and session tracking to prevent users from voting multiple times on the same poll within a short period.
3. Real-Time Reflection on the Global Map
After you vote, the live world map updates instantly, within seconds. This is achieved through the collaboration of our high-performance Django/Python backend and Next.js/React frontend. Each country is colored based on the majority choice of its voters.
4. Exploration and Gaining Insight
Users can explore how opinions differ across countries (cultural variance) and check out trending topics that are currently popular worldwide. Every vote contributes to a larger picture of cultural diversity and shared interests.
