Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Pollar (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Pollar provides a platform to create and answer two-choice polling questions and to view aggregated results. We may display aggregated analytics and provide anonymized datasets to third parties under the terms outlined in the Privacy Policy.
3. User Responsibilities
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under applicable age limits in your jurisdiction, you must obtain parental or guardian consent where required.
- You agree not to submit unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content.
- You must not attempt to manipulate voting results (bots, scripts, or repeated fake submissions).
4. Moderation & Removal
We reserve the right to remove, modify or refuse any content at our discretion, including content that violates these Terms. We may suspend or terminate access for users who breach these Terms.
5. Intellectual Property
All content provided by the Service (excluding user-submitted content) is owned or licensed by Pollar. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without permission.
6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy or completeness of poll results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pollar and its affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
7. Data Sales and Restrictions
When aggregated/anonymized datasets are shared or sold, recipients must sign a binding non-reidentification agreement and implement reasonable safeguards. Buyers are prohibited from attempting to re-identify individuals or combining datasets in a way that would enable re-identification.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms or for operational reasons.
10. Changes to Terms
We may change these Terms from time to time. We will post an updated Terms page with a revised effective date.
